Support to Economic Reform in FSU Countries [Ukraine]

[ March 1993 - January 1994 ]

Within the project, financed in years 1992-1994 by the Stefan Batory Foundation and the Open Society Institute and related to countries of the former Soviet Union , CASE has also advised in 1993 and first half of 1994 the Ukrainian government and the National Bank of Ukraine. The comprehensive diagnosis of the Ukrainian economy and economic reform project, as well as several memoranda containing the policy recommendations were prepared under this project.

 

CASE expert group led by Marek D±browski involved: Leszek Balcerowicz, Stanisław Wellisz, Marcin ¦więcicki, Piotr Kozarzewski, Grażyna Gęsicka and Kazimierz Kloc. Implementing this project CASE cooperated with the Renaissance Foundation (including its regional branch in Donetsk), the Institute of State Administration and Local Government, and the Center for Advanced Economic Studies in Kiev.
