The project financed by the Open Society Institute was conducted between August 1994 and March 1998. The group of experts, headed by Anders Aslund, Marek Dabrowski, and Georges de Menil included: [Helena Goralska], Marcin Swiecicki, Tadeusz Syryjczyk, Slawomir Gburczyk, Ryszard Brzezik, Irina Sinicina, Rafal Antczak, Marcin Luczynski, Malgorzata Markiewicz, Krzysztof Polomski, Joanna Starega-Piastek, Urban Gorski, Andrew Jirniy, Aleksandr Rohozynsky, Vadim Lepetyuk, and Oksana Kuzakiv. The agenda of the project involved monetary and fiscal policy, macroeconomic forecasting, social policy, trade liberalization, agriculture reform, bank supervision, coal and energy sector.
