Seminars on "Innovation in the Polish Economy"

In 2002-2004 a cycle of seminars entitled 'Innovation in the Polish Economy' focusing on various aspects of innovation in Polish enterprises was organized. The main task of the seminars was to propagate knowledge about the subject and to create a platform for discussion between government officials and industry.
The cycle of seminars was under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy, Labor and Social Policy. The media patron and joint organizer of the seminars was  the daily newspaper Rzeczpospolita.
The cycle of seminars was co-financed by the National Bank of Poland within the Programme of Economic Education.

The following seminars were organized:

2004-01-13   The role of the institutional and legal environment and the telecommunication sector in the development of the Knowledge-Based Economy in Poland
2003-12-17   Regional innovation support systems: Industrial parks, clusters, Regional Innovation Strategies
2003-11-07   What R&D infrastructure model for Poland?
2002-12-17   Attracting of investments into highly developed sectors
2002-11-22   Intelectual right protection. Does present legal status stimulate or slow down innovation activity?
2002-10-04   Financing of Innovative SME: Do capital and ideas meet in Poland?
2002-06-12   R&D Activity in foreign and domestic companies operating in Poland
