Daniel Gros

Director of the Center for European Policy Studies (Brussels), advisor to European Union and formerly also to Russia and other CIS countries. He holds Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago, graduated from the University of Rome (Laurea in Economics). His areas of research expertise include: European Monetary Union, macroeconomic policy, economics of transition to a market economy, enlargement of the EU, political economy of the Wider Europe, EU-US relations public finance, banking and financial markets.
