• Moldova (June - July 2003) Freedom House project, "Moldova: Assessment of Civil Society and Democratic Institutions"

• Kyrgyzstan (2002) United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Project, "Developing Capacity through Technical Cooperation Country Experiences."

• Belarus (Oct. 2001 - Jan. 2002) Designing a research project and conducting research on functioning of political structures of Lukaszenko's regime in Belarus as part of a wider project financed by the Open Society Institute, Budapest, Hungary, entitled "Center for Market Economy Development: Belarus". The report entitled System of Governance in Belarus after the 1996 Referendum and advisory work for independent groupings and think-tanks before the presidential elections of 2001 were the products of this project.

Previous Positions:

• Participated in several parliamentary and local election observing missions to Moldova, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan
• Co-editor of the "Przegląd Społeczny" monthly (1992 - 1996)
• Senior Research at the Institute of Political Science, Warsaw University (1990-1999?)
