Financial Stability

An endowment that ensures financial stability is critical to the further development of our organization. The establishment of an initial fund in March 2004 crowned several years of intensive work in developing our financial and organizational capacity. In addition to enabling the development and funding of future programs, an endowment will provide the following:

  • Long-term security for CASE's statutory activities.
  • Financial stability and resources which are critical in competing for large-scale European research projects.
  • Increased credibility in the eyes of potential partners and sponsors.

Since 2004 we have raised a total of 1,600,000 PLN, of which 900,000 PLN represented a grant administered by the Stefan Batory Foundation's "Third Sector Program", co-financed by the Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe. 100.000 PLN represented donation received from the BRE Bank Foundation and 600,000 PLN represented funds gathered by CASE from other sources. In October this year, we were promised another donation of 360,000 PLN by the Stefan Batory Foundation.

With a solid endowment, CASE will continue to emerge as a flexible and professionally-managed institute representing European standards of research work, in-depth experience and well-trained experts. We will be a strong competitor for the mature and financially stable institutes from the EU-15.
