| PROJECT ASSISTANT INTERNSHIP (Polish Speaking) CASE - Center for Social and Economic Research is an independent non-profit institute founded on the idea that research-based policy-making is vital for the economic welfare of societies. Established in Warsaw in 1991, today CASE is an internationally renowned think tank drawing on the talents of prominent economists and driving the creation of a network of partner institutions in transition countries. CASE carries out policy-oriented research and development assistance projects, specializing in questions of European integration, post-communist transition, and the global economy. CASE is offering an internship for a Polish speaking PROJECT ASSISTANT with a background in economics and a strong interest in working in a professional research and analysis environment. The Project Assistant works closely together with the Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be a native Polish speaker plus excellent knowledge of English with experience in translating papers, project administration and familiar with current Polish and global economic, political and public policy issues. Tasks: •project management process and work of NGO Desired profile: •Some experience in translating from English to Polish language The internship is for 1 month, from 1 February - 28 February 2009. Shortlisted candidates will be tested on their knowledge. This is an unpaid position but it offers insights into project management and work of internationally recognized think tank.
