CASE is a member of a consortium that has been awarded a DG ECFIN framework contract to carry out ex-post evaluations of selected EU Macro Financial Assistance operations. Project "Ex-post Evaluation of Macro-Financial Assistance (MFA) Operations in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" entails an assessment of  the effectiveness of the MFA in Macedonia in terms of macroeconomic stabilisation, its impact on structural reforms, as well as  its contribution to returning the external financial situation to a sustainable path over the medium to longer-term.  The objective of this projects is to support Macedonia's economic reform efforts and the transition toward market economy status, by completing international financial institution financing in the context of IMF supported economic programs.
