Conference for the Ministry of Finance and NBR staff

In June 1998, 'Pro Democratia' in cooperation with the Romanian Economic Society organized a conference for economists and employees of the NBR and Finance Ministry on the effectiveness of anti-inflation policy. During the conference, Nina Budina and Wojciech Maliszewski presented variants of forecasts of basis monetary aggregates, inflation and budget deficit for 1998-2000, while Marek Dabrowski and Georges de Menil discussed the dangers of conducting the wrong fiscal and monetary policies.
