Description:

The Government of Tajikistan has initiated the development of a national development strategy, based on the Millennium Development Goals, to sustain economic growth and reduce poverty in Tajikistan. The objective of the project is to assist the Government in preparing a Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper, in line with international standards. The experts (Roman Mogilevsky and Jean-Paul Blandinieres) will work together with the working groups on health, education, agriculture and private sector development in order to prepare the policies for the PRSP for these two sectors. The experts will prepare a report on the lessons learned and an evaluation of the first PRSP, as well as a draft of the second PRSP.
