Description:  Within the projectMałgorzata and Rafal Antczak estimated short term fiscal costs of accession for Poland. The paper, prepared for the (Poland's) Office of the Committee of European Integration, analyzed, among others, the financial flows between Poland and the EU budget, the preliminary scope of structural funds absorption in the first year of accession, net fiscal balance, the role of pre-financing and co-financing of the EU programs, and the overall impact of the EU accession on the fiscal adjustment.
