| ![]() European Forecasting Network [ January 2005 - December 2007 ] The EFN (European Forecasting Network) was a three-year project aimed at producing bi-annuel macro-economic forecast of the euro area for the European Commission. The reports also covered the EU as a whole as well as other regions of the world, and provided an analysis of topical policy issues. The forecast and analysis were prepared by EUROFRAME - EFN, which is a group consituted of 10 European, independent institutes: CPB (The Hague), DIW (Berlin), ESRI (Dublin), ETLA (Helsinki), IfW (Kiel), NIESR (London), OFCE (Paris), PROMETEIA (Bologna), WIFO (Vienna), and CASE (Warsaw). See www.euroframe.org/efn. When the project ended in 2007, the EUROFRAME Group decided to continue to issue reports on a yearly basis. The Automn 2008 Report is the result of the Group's initiative.
