Private Sector Development

CASE has completed several research projects on private sector development (list of the latest projects below).

We have also performed a number of representative surveys of privatized enterprises in Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, and Bulgaria under the auspices of the advisory projects financed by the Open Society Institute. In the course of those surveys, corporate governance structures, restructuring strategies, and enterprises' performance have been studied. Final products included a set of databases on these enterprises and a number of working papers disseminated mainly among policy makers and researchers of the respective countries.
