The Foundation organizes several dozen seminars and conferences every year, some of them international. Among our seminar series the one with the oldest tradition is the series of seminars organized jointly with the Polish Development Bank (PBR) from 1992 to 1998 and since 1998 with the Export Development Bank (BRE Bank SA). These seminars provide a forum for discussion about key problems of the financial and banking sector, public finance, monetary union and other important topics of current interest in Poland and abroad. We present the results of our research at internal seminars held at our office as well as during open, public seminars. Prior to the appearance of each issue of our quarterly, "Polish Economic Outlook", the authors of the forecasts present them at press conferences. The Foundation also organizes seminars for the development of young researchers.
